Draft Day 06

I did not get the full draft expierence which consisted of sitting on my ass for numerous hours and pondering how Mel Kiper keeps his hair that way? Haha only kidding but I must say I was really impressed with what Ted Thompson did today for the GB Packers.

First off AJ Hawk is the true meaning of badass and anyone who watches Big 10 football would know that. Then we trade Javon Walkers WHAT A MOVE! He is disgruntled and we dont need that type of player around with a brand new coach. Then they draft Daryn Colledge who some might question but i don't. Scouts are calling him a "diamond in the rough" and I'm glad they didnt draft McNeil out of Auburn for a couple reasons: 1. very prone to injury so who knows he gets hurt and then we are back to Will Whiticker 2. He is 6'7 that is too big for the guard posistion to really be effective.

Then we go after Greg Jennings who some considered a first rounder and I believe will start next year w/ Driver. The next pick, Abdul Hodge out of Iowa whatta pick..... he is another big 10 linebacker and gives the Pack a beasty LB crew. The final one of the day was Jason Spitz a Guard who was first team all big east but thats all i really know about him. Hopefully the Pack will have a solid second day.

A couple other thoughts
-Mario Williams over Reggie Bush? probably one of the most stupid moves ever, it is classic draft history that you never in the top 3 picks go with a defensive player over an offensive player.
