Brewer Wrap-up vs. the Mets
First off I would like to congratulate my high school girls soccer team for their victory against their hated cross-town rival Tosa East! Good job girls!
Now on to the Brewers....
Friday night was the classic example of what one big inning can do a team. If Suppan had not given up those two homers, the Crew would have been alright during the game. Also I could not believe that is was Damien fuckin' Easley beat the Brewers that night. Also if you look at the Journal Sentinel, you can see that Wright was out at the plate which killed the Brewers in a 5-4 defeat, but I guess that happens to your team once in awhile. On Saturday, Sheets pitched better than he had before plus he did a good job composing himself during the big 3 run inning for the Mets. Also how bout JJ HARDY!?!? Another huge day with a granny and 5 RBI, I cannot believe he is being talked about as a MVP candidate. Sunday unfortunately, the Crew didn't come to play whatsoever and Oliver Perez dominate all throughout the entire game. Also Easley with 3 more RBIs, damnit the first two Brewer killers of the year.
I think its time to move Rickie Weeks from the leadoff spot to the 6th or 7th spot because he is too aggressive at the plate to truly be a leadoff threat. He just keeps hitting pop ups which are not doing shit for the team. Then if he moves down, it clears the way for Gywnn to be the leadoff man in which he will do a fantastic job, I can almost guarantee that one.
Tomorrow = Brett Favre.
